Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 11, 2026 · Legal identification corrected: October 19, 2026 · Version: 2026.3.1

This Privacy Policy describes how Valuewright Systems, LLC, dba Builder Intelligence Group (“BUILDERS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information through builderintelligencegroup.com, areyouabuilder.com, Builder Headquarters, and related applications and services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use BUILDERS, we may collect:

2. Connected Financial Information and Plaid

When you choose to connect a financial account, BUILDERS uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to link the account. Your bank login credentials are entered into Plaid’s interface and are not received or stored by BUILDERS.

With your authorization, we may receive account names and types, masked identifiers, balances, transaction details, merchant descriptions, dates, amounts, and connection status. We use this information to provide bookkeeping, reconciliation, cash-flow, financial-statement, and related business-management features that you request. Plaid’s handling of information is governed by Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. You may also manage certain Plaid connections through Plaid Portal.

3. How We Use Information

4. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal or connected financial information. We disclose information only as needed to provide requested services, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Service providers may include hosting, database, authentication, financial connectivity, payment, email, video, calendar, analytics, and support providers. They receive only the information needed for their assigned function and are subject to contractual or platform obligations.

5. Mobile Information and SMS Consent

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, mobile information, or SMS opt-in information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We may provide mobile information to service providers solely as necessary to deliver requested transactional security messages, operate the messaging service, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect rights and security. SMS consent is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you separately choose to receive BUILDERS transactional security and two-factor authentication text messages, message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Withdrawing SMS consent may require use of another available authentication method.

6. Consent and Your Financial Connections

Before opening Plaid Link, BUILDERS asks you to affirm that you authorize Plaid and BUILDERS to access and process the financial-account information you select for the bookkeeping services described in this policy. Plaid separately presents its own disclosures and permission choices during the connection process. Connecting an account is optional, and your consent applies only to the accounts and information you authorize.

You may decline, disconnect an account in BUILDERS, manage certain connections through Plaid Portal, or request revocation. Disconnecting stops future BUILDERS synchronization and may prevent connected bookkeeping features from updating; information already imported may be retained when needed for accounting, security, or legal records. We do not initiate bank transfers through Plaid unless a separate payment capability and express authorization are introduced.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, to provide your account, preserve accounting and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated according to our retention schedule.

You may request account deletion, deletion of eligible personal data, or disconnection of a linked financial account. Some accounting, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, legal, and audit records may be retained where required or permitted by law. Verified requests are tracked through completion, including deletion from applicable active systems and provider connections.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based and least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication for sensitive access, server-side secret management, audit logging, vulnerability and lifecycle management, and periodic access reviews. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; disconnect financial accounts; and opt out of non-essential communications. We may verify your identity before acting and may deny or limit a request where law permits.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, security, preferences, and core functionality. We may use limited analytics to understand service performance. Browser settings can control cookies, although blocking essential storage may prevent the service from working.

11. Children

BUILDERS is intended for business owners and adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as services, practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
